Eliza Miranda, MD is a board-certified dermatovenereologist in Jakarta, Indonesia. She has been a medical consultant and teaching staff at Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia – Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National Referral Hospital since 2009. She has also been practicing at Senopati Skin Center (SSC) since 2009.

Her main area of interest is mycology. She has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics of tropical skin infection. She has published numerous papers in national and international journals along with chapters in books. She is the editor of Journal of General-Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia (JDVI).

She has also been actively involved in many national and international societies. At present, she is chairwoman of Indonesian Dermatomycosis Study Group (KSDMI), the national board examination committee at Indonesia College of Dermatologist and Venereologist, scientific committee in the Jakarta branch of Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (PERDOSKI), treasurer of Indonesian Society of Human and Animal Medical Mycology (PMKI), and member of International Society of Human and Animal Medical Mycology (ISHAM).

What can interns expect

Regular internship: Interns can expect to observe Dr. Eliza as she goes through her routine job.

:

1. Teaching medical students and residency in dermatology and venereology by zoom 

2. Working as medical staff in outpatient DV clinic Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) or RSCM Kencana (private clinic of RSCM)

3. Supervising residence and doing research 

4. Mentoring in writing or journal publication or case report

Then, optionally, interns can further observe Dr. Eliza during her private practice in Senopati Skin Centre where she performs procedures like lasers, surgery and peeling

What will interns gain from this internship
